We are so honored to welcome Ryan Adams, to this weeks episode of the Spirit Empowered Leader Podcast! Travis Holownia (co-host) and Daunavan Buyer (co-host) ask Ryan his Spirit Empowered Leadership journey. Ryan talks about how not knowing his father impacted his life, purpose and relationship with God. There were some key moments where he experience and encountering the love of the Father(God). Those moments have been key in forming him to be an influencer of influencers in business and finance. Be sure to listen!
Ryan obtained his Science degree from the U of A in 2006 and followed this on with his Chartered Accountant designation shortly thereafter. His time at PricewaterhouseCoopers provided a strong foundation to step into private industry and build his experience. Ryan’s passion to build companies and work with entrepreneurs has been the primary driver for his career’s trajectory. His experience has spanned many industries - resulting in the creation of the private services firm Refine Financial Inc. Through Refine, Ryan focused on providing business owners the solutions they need to build their business, financing, management, mergers and acquisitions in private and public markets, and navigate the challenges that come from growth or downturns. Ryan currently works with business owners through Refine, acts as an Angel Capital investor in unique opportunities and participates in business acquisitions with dedicated investment partners. Ryan also volunteers for various charities, focused on helping those in need, ranging from Board or Advisory Committee Member to operational assistance. He has been a big part of praying and cheering on Resurgence Initiatives (the ministry behind this podcast!).

Bill Hogg's passion is communicating the good news of Jesus, igniting the fires of evangelism, encouraging and equipping God’s people to share the gospel. Bill dreams of seeing a new generation of Canadian evangelists raised up by God and released into the harvest fields. He also longs to see teams of downwardly mobile urban missionaries – Eden Teams – who put roots down deep in broken postal codes to share their lives, share the gospel, and bless and elevate the poor. Bill is a published author and former radio talk show host and has served as a pastor, professor, evangelist, and a movie extra! He was involved in pioneer evangelism in his native Scotland, developing Youth for Christ in his role as National Evangelist. Bill is part of the SEND Institute Missiologists Council. He also serves on the Church Planting Canada leadership team. His doctoral research focused on the missional renewal of the church.
